Questions, answered.
Is Hespoire available today?
Hespoire is in development and starts with Dutch operators. We are speaking with operators to shape the first release. Request early access and we will get in touch.
What does Hespoire do?
Hespoire writes, checks and maintains the documents behind a drone operational authorisation. It generates the SORA risk assessment and operations manual from structured inputs, checks them against current EASA rules, updates only the affected sections when something changes, and reuses approved work for later applications.
Does Hespoire guarantee that my application will be approved?
No. The national aviation authority decides on every application, and the operator stays responsible for the content of its file and for its flights. Hespoire aims to make sure the authority receives a complete and consistent file.
Is this a replacement for a consultant?
For many routine files, an operator should be able to do the work with Hespoire directly. Complex operations will still benefit from expert advice. Consultancies can also use Hespoire under the Partner plan, keep their clients and handle more files per week.
Which countries do you cover?
We start in the Netherlands, where the ILT is the competent authority, and then move on to the other EASA states. Regulation (EU) 2019/947 applies across all of them, though national procedures differ.
Which version of SORA do you use?
We build on SORA 2.5, which EASA adopted through ED Decision 2025/018/R in September 2025 as an acceptable means of compliance under Article 11 of Regulation (EU) 2019/947.
What does it cost?
We set pricing together with our first customers, so we do not publish prices yet. There are three plans: Operator, Fleet and Partner.
Do I need a SORA if I fly under a standard scenario?
No. Under STS-01 or STS-02 you make a declaration instead of applying for an operational authorisation. You still need an operations manual and suitable pilot competence, and your drone needs the right class mark.
Who is behind Hespoire?
Hespoire was founded by Luca Anthonie Stravers, who builds the product and flies commercial FPV, and Dmitry Fomins, an aerospace technology student who owns the regulation and risk model. Strynic is the technology partner that builds and runs the platform.
Is the SAIL estimator an official tool?
No. It follows the published SORA 2.5 tables and gives an indication. A real assessment needs evidence and has to be accepted by your authority. See the disclaimer on the estimator page.
