Accessibility.

We want this website to work for everybody, including people using a screen reader, keyboard or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Semantic headings and landmarks, with a skip link on every page.
  • Full keyboard operation of menus, forms and tools.
  • Text alternatives for charts and diagrams.
  • Animations that switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Content that stays readable without JavaScript, with every page reachable from the footer. The estimator needs JavaScript.

Known limits

This statement is based on our own checks, and no independent audit has taken place. The decorative matrix beside the estimator is hidden from screen readers, because the result is announced as text.
